Quarterly Goals: Oct.-Dec. 2020

This quarter was a bust. I barely wrote at all and am suffering majorly from Sophomore (or Junior at this point) slump. I've mainly been focusing on things outside of writing, which isn't all bad, but I didn't do nearly as much as I wanted. Let's recap:

  1. Write at least 100 more pages in The Thundering Ones- No. Not by a long shot.

  2. Read 2 books- I did actually do this.

  3. Go to the doctor for checkup- Did this!

  4. Exercise regularly- Not really. Fail.

  5. Establish a social media/blog routine- Nope. Fail again.

  6. Meditate twice weekly- Yes!

  7. Research for The Thundering Ones (does not count toward 2 books goal)- Did this and invested in some business tools.

  8. Start learning Korean- Nope.

  9. Brush up on Cherokee language lessons- Nope.

  10. Eat healthier- Yes!

  11. Only drink 1 alcoholic drink per week- Success!

That's over half, but not the greatest. With NaNoWriMo and The Moon-Eyed Ones anniversary coming up, I'm hoping I can do a little more. Here are my goals for the last quarter of this dumpster fire of a year.

  1. Write at least 100 pages in The Thundering Ones (this is just over 1 page a day)

  2. Read 2 more books

  3. Exercise regularly

  4. Meditate twice weekly

  5. Eat healthier

  6. Only drink 1 alcoholic drink per week

  7. Participate in NaNoWriMo (write 50,000 words in 30 days)

  8. Do a promo for The Moon-Eyed Ones/The Thundering Ones

  9. Knit more

  10. Practice business tools I've learned

  11. Establish a blog routine

  12. Be kinder to myself

And there we have it folks. You can also do these or your own goals with me if you'd like, and we can keep each other accountable, especially in NaNo season. We'll see how I do in January and hope that 2021 will be a much more productive year.
